Mulhurst is a place where children can be creative through crafts and music and enjoy activities such as swimming, archery, campfires, canoeing etc. Through Bible study and worship the children learn bout the love of Jesus and what it means to be a child of God - all this in a beautiful setting on Pigeon Lake.
The cost for one week is $290. A voucher will be mailed to you for the child to register at a Summer Camp of their choosing by calling 780-389-4355 or office@mulhurstlutherancamp.ca.

Thanks to Summer Staff
We wait all year for the summer to come and are excited when it comes...then in a blink it is gone. Summer camp was challenged this year with wet weather and lots of mosquitoes, as well as algae on the lake. Despite the less than ideal conditions, those that came out to camp for programs this summer, had a unique experience. Everyone has a story to tell. Want to tell your camp story? Send to office@mulhurstlutherancamp.ca.
A big thank you to all our summer staff for a fine job: Ingrid Parker, Heather Ulmer, Katelynn Trainor, Martha Ree, Lenea Becker, Julie Cameron, Erika Heiberg, David Patterson, and Daylan Wizniuk. Not only were they leaders for our campers, they supported the SIT (Servant in Training) program as well. A great staff addition this year was the role of Camp Chaplan, served by Pastor Tim Wray. Pastor Tim visited the camp thru-out the summer and offered spiritual as well as personal guidance to our staff. The Program committee is using evaluation of the summer program as they finalize the plans for 2012. Stay tuned for dates that you may want to spend at Mulhurst next summer - your place in the "son".
Mulhurst Road Show
We at Mulhurst are always interested in growing the relationship between the camp and our member churches. To help deepen this relationship we are launching a promotional tour before the summer of 2012. If you would like to have a presentation about the camp at your church please contact Wilson Sihlis w.sihlis@gmail.com
or 780-893-6619. We are hoping to visit our member churches in a face-to-face way in order to promote the camp as a resource to congregations as well as a ministry to individual families and children.

Confirmation Retreats
The final two confirmation retreats of the year will wrap on Nov 6. These weekends provide a unique opportunity for pastors and youth leaders to teach 4 confirmation lessons, in a way that can not be done in their home church. For some youth it might be the first time they are part of a 'camp' experience. For others it is an opportunity to come to a place they love to be at. In either case, the youth of today are our leaders tomorrow and outdoor ministry is a great way to connect, teach and guide their growth and development. If your confirmands missed out on this experience, the next opportunity will be March 2012. Stay tuned for more details and plan NOW to attend in spring!!
Edmonton Christian Youth Help Spruce up the Camp
Approximately 36 youth and their leaders from the Edmonton Christian School spent two days in a service project at Mulhurst Camp.
They willingly helping our volunteers paint buildings, clean cabins, the beach area, stain picnic tables and pick up debris. They also had a chance to explore the beautiful grounds at Mulhurst.
Their spirit was welcome at the camp. It was a joy to see so many willing hands help out!
Pioneer Day at Mulhurst
A bright sunny day on September 15 brought 64 pioneers to Mulhurst for a Bible Study by Pastor Dan Berg, a delicious lunch, a ride on the tractor/people mover to explore the east farm, a gospel sing-song and much visiting and fellowship.
What a great day for all who attended -- a great day to experience and to enjoy God's creation, overlooking Pigeon Lake.
Special Meeting
In response to a motion made at the AGM in March a special meeting of the Association was held on Octoer 23, 2011 at the camp. Along with a motion for the board to present an annual review of staffing needs at the camp, several bylaws were also changed.
